Alfa Trafili was born in 1979. Since the beginning Alfa Trafili has dedicated to the production of copper and aluminium conductors for electric sector in general with a specialization for railway sector.
Over time, it has acquired a high level of experience and expertise in the wide range of products offered to satisfy all its customers’ needs.
With two plants, in Alfianello (BS) and Pontevico (BS) on a global area of 50.000 mq ( 25.000 are covered), Alfa Trafili is one of the italian industry leaders.
Thanks to constant inverstments in modern machinery and equipment, the production capacity has gradually grown, from 1.000 tons produced in the first year to nearly 17.000 tons in the last year.
The high degree of specialization has constantly supported the technological improvement of our plants. The continous exchange of experience among our technicians and plant producers has allowed us to use the very latest technologies to achieve and maintain performance levels of absolute excellence.
Alfa Trafili is qualified in the most important public organizations ( Including Terna and RFI), both in Italy and abroa, in the electric and railway sectors
The Quality System of our company is certified UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 /14001:2015;
THE PROCESSING DEPARTMENTS
The processing departments of copper and aluminium create the entire production cycle:
Casting, Drawing, Stranding and Twisting
The facility is rounded out by departments for the receipt, inspection, and storage of raw materials and finished products, as well as technical offices and a testing room.
In a market characterized by dynamic competitors, Alfa Trafili has necessarily focused its efforts in the following areas:
- reorganization and streamlining of the production process with the aim of containing and, if possible, reducing production costs;
- diversification of the product range with the addition of drawn copper and aluminum alloys for the automotive, electronics, and electroplating sectors;
- focus on product flexibility and customization;
- shortening of delivery times;
- creation of stock for the most commonly used products.
