Trolley
Alfa Trafili produces rounded and shaped electrolytic copper wire, in its raw form—known as “trolley”– intended for overhead contact lines used in railway power supply. This is the lower conductor of the electrification system, the one that operates in direct contact with the train’s pantograph and through which the electrical energy required is drawn.
All the products comply with RFI categories, in accordance with the requirements of national railway network, for which Alfa Trafili has been certified for over 30 years, ensuring quality, reliability, and production continuity. the only exception is the 120 trolley which does not fall under a specific RFI category but it is producted in accordance with the CEI EN 50149 that defines its characteristics and performance standards.
In this way, Alfa Trafili provides solutions tailored to a variety of system requirements, ensuring high levels of safety and efficiency in the operation of electrified railway lines.
